Week 2 reflection

This week I learned to take my time with all the different components of my project. My project has so many different parts between making recipes, working out and running, and mental health. I really had to take time this week to slow down and work on each of these components. I also needed to give myself more of a break in between each activity so my body has time to re-energize before jumping into the next exercise or recipe.  This way,  I was able to do my best work because I noticed when I would go from one activity to the next, I was not fully focused and energized.

I really like the project I chose because I can vary what I do each day, but in the end, I am still working towards the same goals. I'm glad that I can switch up my recipes and workout depending on how I feel that day since my project is so open to inabilities in achieving my goals. I haven't gotten bored yet because I know that I need to create a different schedule every day so that I'm able to still work towards my goals without being stuck in the same routine every day.

This week everything went as planned, there was more rain, but I adapted and moved some workouts around in order to complete this week's workout plan. I also got way too much sun and got really burned which was not part of the plan. I will definitely benefit from this week's work because I Put in a lot of hours to work towards my goals and I only have a few more hours to go that is reasonable for me to complete my project this coming Monday and Tuesday. I've also learned some new exercises in the gym that I had done before, but I will continue to use them following my senior project.

By working and running every day while eating healthy and exercising my mental health, I am getting stronger and stronger every day to be able to run faster which is the main goal I have in completing this project. I've also learned the perfect ratio in order to perfect a smoothie or smoothie bowl. By making all sorts of different combinations I'm able to see what I like and use different protein powders as well as make homemade granola to perfect this art.  I've also gotten to know my classmates a lot better by learning about their stress and anxiety coping mechanisms. By using their practices I'm able to understand the pros and cons of all these activities. Overall, I have worked really hard this week and plan to finish up my project strong!
