Day 6 Stretching soar muscles, rain, and reading!!

Today I got a late start to the day since I spent the morning with my family having a nice long breakfast. After this, I headed to our gym to do some long stretching and even some basic yoga that Kara Kidder taught me back at school. This felt great and it was definitely what my body needed in order to keep up. I then did a smaller modified arm circuit with a lighter weight than I had planned but with the high repetitions still felt happy with my work. I decided I was going to take a break from running today but took my dog Moose on a long walk instead. This walk turned into a run when it started downpouring rain on us, but he loved it. After we got home and dried off, I made a Mediterranean chickpea salad which I hadn't made since last summer, but went off memory and tastes really good. It's good in small doses and tastes really good on salads, definitely recommend! I then finished off my night by reading some of my book, The Book of Two Ways, by Jodi Picoult. This was recommended to me by a friend that said it changed their mindset on making choices and that I needed to read it with my senior project focusing partly on mental health.

Hours today: 5

Week 1 total: 26.5 (I know this is low but with complications at the beginning of the week I had a late start, but have planned out my hours for the rest of the senior project to ensure that I make the 75hour mark)
