Day 4 Driving, Podcasts, and Green Juice!

 This morning I had drivers-ed with my driving teacher Sal and got more comfortable with driving on route one. I then came home to walk our dogs with my mom and while we walked we listened to a podcast, suggested by Calista. The podcast was one of Emma Chamberlain's talks about how we are overly comfortable with social norms which was very interesting. I then did my workout of the day, in our gym, and instead of making a smoothie, I decided to switch it up and make a green juice. To be honest, it was pretty gross and I probably won't make it again, but I would definitely look into a recipe to follow. I then went for a short run and walked the rest of the way just because I felt low on energy. By doing all this activity I need to be getting more sleep which means I will be going to bed early tonight!

  1. Great update Em!! Were you able to reflect a little bit on your podcast that you could connect to yourself? Yes, a nasty smoothie is tough to stomach sometimes and not worth it. Are you going to do a yoga day? When you're tired try some other form of exercise so you don't burn the candle at both ends.

  3. Hope you are able to get some rest. Sounds like you had a busy day. I would stick with making smoothies, the green juice does not sound good. Can't wait to read more about your project.
