Day 3 Running, Smoothies, and Sun!

 Today is my first day of senior project at home in Guilford, CT! I started my day by planning out how I wanted to go about my day. I decided to go for a run around my neighborhood and when I came back I made a smoothie bowl. The smoothie bowl was a base of strawberries, bananas, and mango then I topped it with hemp hearts and granola. I then went into my second workout of the day which was mostly core and light weight-based in our at-home gym that my brothers made early in the pandemic. After I cooled off I used my headspace app to meditate on my porch. Headspace is a guided mediation app that I had never used before but found this experience extremely calming and a great way to pause your day and set good intentions for yourself. I finished off my day by taking a sunset walk with my mom and our dogs!

  1. Emily, great to see you have been enjoying some time at home but also putting in some great work for your senior project! So far what has been you best highlight day and why? I think I would have to say that meditation would be my number one thing that would bring to a great headspace. Are the dogs outside putting in some good zen with you?
